We are looking for a motivated, full-time Class A driver to join our St. Louis, MO team.
Position Description:
- Operate and drive a semi-truck safely and professionally
- Operate vehicle in compliance with company rules and all applicable state and federal regulations
- Deliver freight to customers in a courteous, professional and helpful manner
- Maintain records of driver's logs, fuel purchases, deliveries, mileage, pre-trip inspections, etc. in accordance with Federal, State and company policy
- Operates forklift
- Use bar code scanners
- Prepare material for shipment consistent with customers, trucker's or driver's requirements and balance and mark pallets
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow warehouse procedures
- Ability to multi task
- Strong work ethic
- Detail oriented
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A Endorsement Required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be physically qualified to drive
- 2 years of experience driving semi-trucks and trailers on the road preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Stand up Reach Forklift experience preferred
