Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, experienced CDL Operator/Shipping Associate to join our logistics team. This dual-role position is responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles to transport materials and finished goods, and for supporting shipping and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and values safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties (Approx. 65%)
- Operate CDL-class vehicles to transport products to/from designated locations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and shipment records
Shipping/Warehouse Duties (Approx. 35%)
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment
- Prepare outbound shipments according to customer requirements
- Organize, label, and stage materials for delivery
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in cycle counts
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment in shipping and receiving areas

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Valid CDL License (Class A or B)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Forklift experience required; certification a plus
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs, climb, bend, and sit for long periods
- Must be dependable and able to work independently in all weather conditions
