CDL Driver

Waste Connections of Arkansas is looking for an Heavy Equipment Operator / Class A Licensed Driver to join our team at the landfill in Cherokee Village, AR. In this position, you'll operate heavy equipment, move dirt and haul leachate

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a key role in keeping our landfill running smoothly, safely, and efficiently:

• Safely operating heavy equipment like trackhoes, compactors, off-road dump trucks, and tractors
• Acting as a spotter to help trucks move in and out safely
• Keeping the worksite clean and clear of hazards
• Pulling and compacting trash to keep things organized
• Hauling dirt materials, and leachate as needed
• Performing daily safety checks and basic maintenance on your equipment (oil, tires, fluids)
• Always watching out for your team and working with a safety-first mindset
• Pitching in on other site duties as needed

This is a physically demanding position and does require working in all weather conditions.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• $19 - $21/hour, depending on experience

What We're Looking For:

• Class A CDL Required, Tanker endorsement (will help get it if you do not have it)
• Experience with Dozers, Trackhoes, or other heavy equipment
• A strong focus on safety
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable using basic computer tools (Word, Excel)
