Full Description
As a local vacuum truck driver and operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and legally compliant servicing of our customers.
Your role will involve:
- Conducting pre/post trip inspections on your truck
- Following all safety rules and regulations
- Loading/unloading liquid waste from customer locations to a wastewater treatment facility

What You'll Do
- Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment
- Collect and transport both liquid and solid waste, including industrial by-products and sewage
- Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on vehicles
- Ensure waste is disposed of properly and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain professional conduct working with customers, fellow peers, and the motoring public
- Maintain accurate records of waste collected, driver electronic logs, and necessary documentation as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- May require occasional overtime, weekends, or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Class CDL-A in the state of operation (Nevada) with a Tanker endorsement
- 1 year of tanker experience
- Current DOT medical card
- Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Must satisfy DOT background check and drug screen criteria
- Must be authorized to operate a manual transmission
- Able to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to work overnight shift
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 1 at-fault vehicle accident in the previous 5 years
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, including verification of criminal history, employment history, and educational credentials
- Ability to pass a drug screening and random drug tests during employment
- Good roadside inspection history
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot vacuum trucks and related machinery
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Job Pay
$28.00 per hour
