POSITION: SUV (SPECIAL USE VEHICLE) DRIVER - PUPIL TRANSPORTATION
RESPONSIBILITIES: To transport all students in a safe and efficient manner and perform all activities.
related to the operation of the school vehicle. Reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS 1. Valid New Jersey Commercial Driver's License Class C with P, S endorsements.
(On-Site Training is available to acquire CDL)

Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the Board of Education.

Willingness to be trained for and ability to pass applicable MVC tests for driving
passengers.

Sufficient mechanical aptitude to diagnose minor problems.

Ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure their safety and well being, and
protect against vandalism.

Reliable person of good moral character, not less than 21 years of age.

Meets physical examination/health requirements, as required by N.J.S.A. 18A:16-2

Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
SALARY: 10 month position with terms and conditions established per Board of Education/WMBDA Agreement
