POSITION SUMMARY
Castle Contracting is looking for Class A CDL Truck Driver in Omaha, NE area. Castle is a self-performing contractor in the areas of underground utility work, site development, excavating services and mass grading. This position is a vital function of our local operation, and we are looking for someone ready to jump in and take ownership of our local equipment fleet and support our field teams.

Castle Contracting is looking for Class A CDL Truck Driver in Omaha, NE area. Castle is a self-performing contractor in the areas of underground utility work, site development, excavating services and mass grading. This position is a vital function of our local operation, and we are looking for someone ready to jump in and take ownership of our local equipment fleet and support our field teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
- Occasional overnight stays may be required for out-of-state moves
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
- Load and haul equipment utilizing a truck and trailer, including lowboy (RGN) trailers
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and job site personnel
- Support field operations by responding to crew needs
- Performing general labor tasks in the yard as needed
- Make minor repairs and perform basic maintenance on equipment and the truck fleet
- Keep the yard and warehouse organized, clean, and properly maintained
- Assist in maintaining inventories of small tools, safety supplies, and consumable materials
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Class A CDL with a clean driving record and DOT medical card for 12+ months
- Experience operating lowboy (RGN) trailers
- Ability to safely load, secure, and haul construction equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing field needs, and prioritize tasks on the fly
- Ability to solve problems and find solutions in a timely manner
- Ability to work overtime as required to support field operations
- Minimum age of 18
- Proof of identity and employment authorization
- No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
