Hi there, we're Article. Since 2013, we've been creating remarkably better furniture experiences one sofa at a time. As a Drayage Driver, you will transport freight containers, perform drop-and-hook movements between ports, and assist in the warehouse when needed.

What You'll Do:

• Haul freight containers secured to chassis but may haul dry van trailers
• Drop and hook container movements
• Daily scheduled routes
• Minimum 40 hour work week
• Warehouse work as needed
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Provide professional and friendly customer engagement and communication.
• Safely transport containers with our furniture to our warehouse.
• Reliable, flexible schedule, and have the ability to meet the demands of the business with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or with little supervision.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CDL A driver's license, and have a clean driving record
• Legally able to work in the US
• Pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, DOT physical, and pre-employment DOT Drug Screen.
• Must have a TWIC card
• Must be physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• 3+ years of CDL A driving experience
• Climb/step up into a truck cab
• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations (Hours of Service)
