POSITION DESCRIPTION
Circular Services is the largest privately held recycling and organics service provider in the U.S. It operates over 30 facilities serving major long-term municipal and commercial contracts. The mission of Circular Services is to keep valuable materials in circulation and minimize the cost and environmental impact of landfills. The company services municipal contracts with some of the largest and fastest growing cities in the U.S. including New York City, Austin, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR
- Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level
- Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets
- Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff
- Drop and hooks at customer locations and warehouse
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least two (2) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review
- Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers

- Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.

- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
