CDL-A Truck Driver
Home Time: Every weekend
Weekly Pay: $1,450 to $1,475
Freight: No-touch freight with drop-and-hook mix
Job Type: Regional
Hiring Area: Chattanooga, TN
A CDL-A truck driver in this role operates within a regional network designed to keep movement steady without unnecessary delays. Loads are arranged to support efficient transitions between stops, allowing a Class A CDL driver to stay focused on driving time instead of extended dock schedules. The weekly rhythm is structured around returning home on weekends, giving a CDL A driver the ability to reset and maintain a balanced routine.
Freight lanes are built to keep a CDL-A truck driver active throughout the week, with routing that supports consistent mileage and clear expectations from dispatch. This setup allows drivers to maintain productivity while avoiding irregular scheduling patterns that can disrupt time management.
Equipment & Driving Setup
Late-model Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt tractors are assigned to support comfort and reliability. Automatic transmissions, APUs, and inverter systems are included to improve the day-to-day experience on the road. Equipment is maintained to minimize downtime and keep drivers moving.
Earnings & Compensation
Drivers earn between $1,450 to $1,475 per week based on active miles and workload. Pay is supported by steady freight demand and route consistency, allowing a CDL A driver to maintain reliable weekly income.
Driver Support & Onboarding
Orientation is completed over four days and is fully paid, with travel, meals, and lodging provided. Each CDL-A truck driver is paired with a driver manager who works directly with them to coordinate routes, address questions, and support day-to-day operations.
Freight movement is designed to limit handling requirements while maintaining efficient turnaround between loads. This allows a Class A CDL driver to focus on driving performance and time management rather than extended on-site responsibilities.
