Cincinnati Area Container Driver | Home Daily
Want a job where the freight handles itself and you actually get to drive? Every load on this intermodal run is no-touch, so you hook up, roll, and head home.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE HOME
Drivers earn $1,100 to $1,300 a week, about $57,200 to $67,600 a year, paid weekly. Pay is built from mileage-based short-haul rates plus $20.00 for every stop.
THE ROUTINE
You're home every day. Schedules run Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Weekend work comes with the job, and holiday work is expected, so this suits someone with a flexible calendar.
THE FREIGHT
Containers only: drop and hooks, live loads, live unloads and preloads. Nothing to touch, nothing to tarp, nothing to count.
CHECK YOURSELF AGAINST THIS LIST
- 6 months of OTR experience after training within the last 12 months, or 12 months of experience in the past 5 years
- A home within 25 miles of the Cincinnati hub
- Urine and hair follicle drug screening
