CDL Driver - Flatbed Class A
Location: Baytown, Texas 77523
Position Type: Contract to Full-time hire
Pay Rate: $26.60 to $34.50 (DOE, see below):
1 year or less of driving experience will be $26.60/hr
3+ years of driving experience will be $30.00/hr
10+ years driving experience will be $34.50/hr
5am to 2pm, M-F, must be available for overtime
Travel: May be required

About the Role:
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a qualified and safety-conscious Class A CDL Licensed Flatbed Truck Driver with steel beam transportation and warehouse experience to join a leading distributor of wide flange beams and structural steel tubing-one of the largest in the U.S. This position is perfect for an experienced flatbed truck driver ready to take on a vital role in a fast-paced industrial environment, with opportunities for career growth and permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving safely and responsibly to and from the steel yard and sometimes as far as Louisianna.
Load and unload materials for transport, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct routine daily inspections of truck and relevant equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Read and utilize measurement tools such as tape measures to ensure precise handling of materials.
Review and interpret shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork to accurately build and verify loads.
Assist with loading/unloading and securing of truck loads on the flatbed truck.
Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds, following proper safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Valid and recent commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A (required).
Steel or lumber yard transportation experience highly preferred.
Ability to read tape measures and interpret technical paperwork.
Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Must be able to pass screenings
