Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer in all weather conditions
- Transport materials to customer locations throughout Nevada and regional delivery areas
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload materials safely and securely, including forklift operation
- Safely connect and disconnect trailers and piggyback forklifts
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper logs, delivery paperwork, and fuel receipts
- Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and customers
- Ensure deliveries are accurate, on time, and signed for properly
- Keep equipment clean, maintained, and road-ready
- Troubleshoot and report minor mechanical issues as needed
- Utilize GPS, maps, and delivery schedules efficiently
- Maintain a professional appearance and customer-first attitude at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current Medical Card
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and Clearinghouse checks
- Ability to operate safely in various weather and road conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to lift up to 6 lbs occasionally
- Experience with flatbed and mounted forklift experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Regional Routes
- Occasional overnight travel required
- Overtime available during peak season
- Occasional weekend work may be required
