Full Description
The Opportunity:
The Commercial Driver position for Victory Packaging involves driving a company tractor and trailer to deliver product to our customers. Driver routes will typically be 4-10 stops per route, will require the driver to unload via lift gate with pallet jack, and transport/place palletized product inside the customers' location. Driver will be expected to use ELD and log all activity and follow all state and federal regulations. Routes are generally <150 miles round trip but could be longer including interstate depending on DC location.

How you will impact Victory Packaging, a Smurfit WestRock Company:
Safely operates tractor and trailer for the delivery of product and materials.
Perform vehicle inspections as required.
Operate mobile apps on phone for ELD and proof of delivery.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery.
Follow all safety rules for equipment and material handling as required by DOT, OSHA and Company safety program.
Ensure all orders are delivered in good condition and in full as per the bill of lading.
Communicate effectively with operations staff about customer concerns.
Utilize material handling equipment, such hand trucks.
What you need to succeed:
Current CDL Class A license
Requires a current DOT Medical Card and a safe driving record.
One or more year(s) experience driving a tractor trailer.
General fluency in English required, verbal and written
Basic computer literacy preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
