This regional CDL A driver role is based in Springfield, Illinois and pays $0 per day. Routes cover Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan, with approximately two overnight trips each week. This TransForce driving opportunity includes regional work with overnight hotel accommodations provided by our client.

This role requires manual transmission experience and involves heavy touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $380 per day
• Estimated weekly gross: $1900
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Start times vary between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Central Time
• Approximately two overnight trips per week
• Hotel accommodations are provided on overnight routes

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive regional routes from Springfield, Illinois to locally owned businesses and customers across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
• Haul mostly palletized hardware products using 28-foot to 53-foot tractor-trailers.
• Handle freight with an electric or manual pallet jack.
• Operate day cab tractors with manual transmissions.

What You Need

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Manual transmission experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
